At Ayvens Digital & IT we have an opening for a Head of Engineering Customer Onboarding

As our new Head of Engineering Customer Onboarding you will lead teams of engineers spread over multiple departments in multiple geographic locations (including offshore locations). 

You’re responsible for productivity, delivery, budget, code quality, job satisfaction, engagement, SDLC, and engineering culture across departments. Systematically improves on above items is part of the responsibility as well.  Stakeholder management is key for this position as well with product, business, engineering and finance. 

The Head of Engineering Customer Onboarding, is also responsible for defining the necessary technical level and capabilities of the talent being hired so that this connect to the long term strategy of the department and is according to business needs.  The products in the domain are the Commerce & Partnership Platform, OEM partnership solutions, MyAyvens, IKA, GreenScoreCard and Customer Onboarding.

You will establish productive collaboration with other managers, senior leadership, product and architecture organization, enabling the teams to deliver at their full capacity. 

You will report into the Director of Engineering Commerce & Partnerships.

We have a hybrid working environment, your work-location will either our Amsterdam or Paris office.

 
What are you going to do?
In this position you are going to be responsible for

• Actively coaching and mentoring your teams.

• Delivering of products, projects & evolutions following delay, budget and scope 

• Support level 1 and 2, escalations and follow up with vendors when needed 

• Implement version upgrades without regressions 

• Guarantee high availability of the systems 

• Process improvements and KPIs follow up 

• Answer queries from auditors 

• Contribute to the department roadmaps and budget definition, capacity planning 

• Coordination with Management, Product team and other stakeholders 

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate has the interpersonal skills necessary to manage and build relationships across multiple departments and geographical locations (including offshoring). Collaboration, agility project management and decision making are examples of key behaviours reflecting the agile culture of Ayvens.

• 10+ years of relevant work experience, 7+ years in a leadership role, 3+ years within the Ayvens organization.

• Experience managing suppliers and resources as outsourced contracts. 

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience  

• Experience in e-Commerce and Partnership systems production management 

• Ability to lead meetings and user groups workshops 

• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
