At our Fayetteville, AR Conagra Plant, we're producing Hungry Man, Gardein, Evol Reporting to the Team Lead, you will monitor and troubleshoot the operation of production equipment to ensure continuous production. You will join a team of over 500 associates.
The primary functions of this position are to manually perform various production line cleaning tasks clean-up spills, squeegee floors, remove trash and debris to appropriate areas maintain and sanitize production areas, help clean and maintain machinery, tools / equipment and other common areas, clean drains, dump and rinse barrels, tubs, buckets and drums, in a timely manner, and, observing all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met and to maintain an efficient and high-quality flow of product through the production process.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday and some occasional Friday's, as needed | Shift: 1st, Starting Pay: $19.11/hour.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities:
At the start of the shift check schedule, complete “pass-over ‘with previous shift operator, put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
Complete safety check on equipment to ensure all safety devices / tools are functioning properly.
Check the production schedule for the product being run and verify proper supplies are available in the staging area.
Report to assigned cut-up workstation, assist with the set up production lines with clean tubs, barrels, baskets and trashcans as needed.
Inspect work area, perform clean-up using proper tools, equipment and according to approved methods and procedures.
Sweep, squeegee, shovel, dustpan and place items in proper receptacles or inedible tubs as required.
Transport trash and inedible product to trash dock staging areas and used soiled tuns to the washroom area for cleaning as required.
Clean, maintain and sanitize production and common areas of production area, clean-up spills, remove trash and debris as needed.
Clean drains, dump barrels of waste material to proper storage containers and change liners as required.
Monitor and remove condensation from walls, ceilings and refrigeration units as required.
Assist with runout of product and complete change-overs, assist set-up / teardown production equipment as assigned/ directed.
Perform scheduled janitorial duties, sanitation clean-ups as directed and special projects as assigned.
Assist other cut-up personnel and complete other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Clean the machine parts, tools, utensils, tubs and tanks as required.
Maintain clean and safe working environment in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
At the end of the shift complete “pass-over ‘with next shift operator, prepare and secure all equipment as required.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
This is a physical position. You will be asked to do things like lifting boxes of up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs and using your hands to move things.
This is a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy.
Safety is important to us; we provide earplugs and other personal protective equipment.
Overtime may be needed to ensure we fulfill production demand.
Physical Requirements: Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements may vary but can include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials. Also be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
