Position: Media Operations Analyst
Department: Analytics for all brands
Work Location: Morristown, NJ Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. What you will be doing:
The Analyst, Media Operations role will sit on the Insights and Analytics team. This position will support the development, governance, and quality assurance of media data operations across Helen of Troy’s portfolio. This role will help ensure that paid media tracking, taxonomy, tagging, and reporting inputs are accurate, consistent, and usable downstream.
Media Operations sit at the intersection of media, analytics, agency operations, and DTC/IT data enablement. The Media Ops Analyst will partner closely with internal Analytics, Media, DTC, Brand, Demand Planning, IT, and agency teams to enforce standards, identify data quality gaps, and reduce downstream rework caused by inconsistent tracking or fragmented operational ownership.
Support day-to-day media operations governance across paid media campaigns, ensuring campaign setup, naming conventions, UTM parameters, taxonomy, and tracking requirements are consistently applied across channels, platforms, brands, and agency partners.
Monitor campaign data feeds and dashboard inputs to identify missing, misclassified, or inconsistent data across platforms such as Adobe, GA4, and other relevant environments.
Own recurring QA processes to validate that media tracking and tagging are sit on the functioning end-to-end, from campaign launch through reporting ingestion, dashboarding, and analytics use cases.
Support end-to-end site tracking and PLP implementation.
Support cross-functional alignment on media performance inputs, including flowcharts, campaign change logs, KPI benchmarks, site analytics, and other data sources used to connect media investment to business results.
Maintain and enforce media taxonomy standards, UTM governance, campaign naming conventions, and related documentation to support scalable and consistent performance reporting.
Support the implementation of data quality controls, issue logs, and escalation processes to reduce manual workarounds, reporting ambiguity, and recurring data cleanup.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Experience with Adobe Analytics or other site analytics or e-commerce tool.
Understanding of e-commerce, paid media operations, campaign trafficking, tracking implementation, taxonomy, UTM structure, and reporting workflows.
Comfort working with digital media platforms, web analytics, dashboarding tools, and campaign data sets.
Strong project management and documentation skills, with the ability to build repeatable processes, governance standards, and operational playbooks.
Detail oriented and analytical mindset.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in media operations, marketing operations, digital analytics, campaign operations, data operations, or a related function.
Working knowledge of UTM governance, campaign taxonomy, pixel/tag validation, QA processes, data ingestion, and dashboard reporting.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Adobe Analytics or similar tools.
In New Jersey, the standard base pay range for this role is $70,447 - $88,059 annually. This base pay range is specific to New Jersey and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
