The Professional Development Assistant provides administrative support for the Firm’s industry-leading training and other professional development events and initiatives, including scheduling virtual and in-person classes, managing class and event materials, entering attendance data into the learning management system, tracking attendance at required compliance training, supporting in-person events, and handling other projects in support of the Professional Development team.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for in-house training and onboarding programs, including scheduling; distributing materials; setting up classes for in-person, hybrid, and virtual programs; managing equipment requests; and communicating with presenters and attendees.
Coordinate AV and IT program needs, locally and globally.
Use, update and navigate the firm's learning management systems to manage class details, track registrations, and enter CLE credits.
Edit and post class recordings to our on-demand learning platform.
Support our local, in-person training events, including preparing materials, scheduling presenters, and event set-up and onsite support.
Proofread all work with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Assist with other projects as needed.
Maintain compliance with all firm policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, but relevant work experience will be considered
Experience in a professional environment preferred
Strong attention to detail
Possess strong initiative and is proactive
Strong organization and communication skills
Dependable team player
Ability to maintain a professional manner and demonstrate good judgment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
Familiarity with audio/visual tools and learning management systems preferred
The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
