Maintenance Associate Intern

The Maintenance Associate Intern will support to perform maintenance activities per the Maintenance Program and ensure on-time delivery of equipment in accordance with operational demand. This person discovers SLB's role in the industry and the lifestyle associated with the job.

Responsibilities:

Candidate’s duties may include the following:

• Under direct supervision of either a Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Associate who perform assigned higher-level maintenance activities.
• Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, accurately capturing maintenance related data.
• Comply with SLB and respective division TLM standards.
• Maintain and build competency in compliance with the TLM Competency Management System.
• Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
• Follow prescribed internship guidelines for the role. The internship will enable the candidate and SLB to determine if these requirements are met before committing to a full-time job.

• Craft Certification or related experience in mechanical, technical or similar field
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Has good problem-solving skills, team player, attention to details, takes initiative and self-motivated to learn.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with various stakeholders
