What You’ll Do
Deliver accurate and reliable quarterly and annual sales forecasts, utilizing Salesforce, pipeline analytics, and field insights. Maintain discipline in forecast methodology, continuously validate pipeline assumptions, and proactively address risks to ensure predictability and accountability in business performance.
Drive timely and consistent updates within Salesforce and core performance metrics, enforcing clear standards for pipeline management and reporting accuracy. Ensure real-time visibility into performance against quota, enabling disciplined tracking, informed decisions, and ownership of results across the team.
Spend consistent, in-person time in the field with the sales team, conducting ride‑alongs and customer visits while applying Össur’s sales methodology. Deliver structured coaching and real-time feedback to strengthen execution, elevate individual performance, and drive consistent attainment of sales objectives.
Developing and executing commercial strategies to drive long-term business growth.
Identifying new market opportunities and expanding the Neuro Orthotics business.
Cross-functional leadership and influence across key business partners.
Providing strategic market insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ensure regions attain or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual regional and national sales objectives.
Responsible for recruiting, training and mentoring Sales team to effectively represent Ossur prosthetic products and services to targeted customers.
Develops and implements a sales program plan, account management policies, sales quota and territories, compensation and incentive programs, performance evaluations, etc.
Encourages job performance improvement of the regional team members by providing professional leadership and coaching.
Utilizes the Neuro Orthotic educational team as a resource to increase the clinical knowledge of our customers and sales people.
Utilizes the Customer Services department to maximize sales opportunities.
Maintains and uses a professional store of industry knowledge, technical knowledge and competitive knowledge to overcome objections and effectively implement our strategies.
Maintains, analyzes and uses territory/customer records to effectively and efficiently organize and plan Americas Prosthetics priorities and activities.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to increase sales while maintaining profitability.
Contributes to the development and implementation of corporate strategic initiatives.
Who You Are
Bachelors/Master Degree.
10+ years of sales management experience
Seven or more years of related sales experience for life science/medical device products.
Proven experience with training and motivating outside sales professionals.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, presentation, interpersonal, and written & oral communications skills.
Knowledge of the orthotic and prosthetic market and distribution channel development is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated experience in present or past positions in effective task management, decision making and overall management skills.
Strong computer skills.
Travel Expectations
Frequent daily travel to client sites within territory, with overnight travel as need to service customers and grow territory
