• We are expanding our team and looking for a highly skilled Fireproofers in the Austin Texas Area long term job lasting 6 months to 2 years. We are looking for employees: who shares our dedication to accuracy, professionalism, and safety. This is an opportunity to join a company with strong values and long-term stability — all while working remotely with monthly planned in person meetings so limited travel is required.

What You’ll Do

As a Fireproofer for BrandSafway Solutions/ISI, you shall:

• Review architectural, structural drawings to verify what is fireproofed and required thicknesses
• Maintain equipment and verify materials are mixed correctly and applied correctly.
• You should have knowledge of Graco 340E and HY-Flex machines.
• Must be legal to work in the United States and pass E-Verify.
• Must work well with others as a team.
• Collaborating with project managers, and leadership teams during the projects.
• Maintain BrandSafway’s reputation for precision, reliability, and integrity

What You Bring to the Table

Experience in fireproofing, or related life-safety/specialty trades

• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Ability to work long hours/ Heavy Lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work as a team in construction environment Professional communication and follow-through

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous fireproofing spraying Wet Mix, Dry Mix and intumescent. Experience working with specialty contractor clients in all climates.
