The Opportunity

As a Tax JD Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to the complexities of the global tax landscape. Within our Tax practice, you will support teams in delivering tailored tax services, helping clients optimize their tax strategies, minimize risks, and seize opportunities. This role offers a unique chance to observe and contribute to innovative solutions that drive sustainable growth and compliance in an ever-changing tax environment.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams with basic tasks, participate in projects, and conduct research while observing professional work environments. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset, actively listening, and applying professional standards to develop your potential.

Responsibilities

- Supporting tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies
- Participating in the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions
- Assisting in corporate tax planning and compliance activities to optimize tax positions
- Engaging in tax modeling and consulting to address client-specific tax challenges
- Contributing to post-deal integration and tax and finance integration projects
- Collaborating on purchase and sale agreements to facilitate seamless transactions
- Conducting research on tax regulations and industry-specific tax issues
- Applying intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax solutions and strategies
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to enhance personal and professional growth
- Demonstrating teamwork by collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Juris Doctorate degree
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their second year of a three-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
