- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and applicable laws.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail store areas, parking lots, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with clients, the public, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
