TELUS Health is expanding our U.S. Benefits Implementation team. We are seeking an analytical, solutions-oriented Design Specialist II to serve as a critical B2B bridge for our enterprise SaaS benefits administration platform.

In this role, you will act as a trusted operational partner to corporate client administrators. You will troubleshoot complex benefits data issues, diagnose root causes, and drive technical solutions that ensure seamless business continuity. This is an ideal opportunity for a curious, collaborative professional dedicated to delivering exceptional B2B SaaS client experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Primary Client Contact: Act as the strategic operational anchor for a dedicated portfolio of SaaS clients.

  • Execute Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical inquiries and operational cases efficiently via our internal ticketing workflow.

  • Lead Data & System Audits: Deeply analyze, test, and diagnose complex benefits data, eligibility rules, and platform configuration discrepancies.

  • Drive Root-Cause Resolution: Provide clear, actionable written solutions to client administrators to guarantee continuous, flawless platform operations.

  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Configuration, EDI, and Shared Services teams to resolve high-tier escalations.

  • Act as a Technical Bridge: Translate complex, non-technical business needs into clear, structured functional requirements for our development teams.

  • Optimize Operational Processes: Analyze backend ticketing and platform trends to boost workflow efficiency.

  • Manage Knowledge Assets: Create comprehensive technical documentation to scale internal team knowledge and build client self-sufficiency.

  • Maintain SLA Compliance: Prioritize competing client demands with precision to consistently meet strict response timelines.

    What You Bring

    • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field; OR equivalent practical, hands-on industry experience.

    • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience navigating Health & Welfare Benefits administration, open enrollment cycles, or complex payroll systems.

    • Analytical Mindset: A natural curiosity with a strong capability to interrogate system data, spot anomalies, and solve software issues independently.

    • Client-First Communication: Exceptional written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical troubleshooting steps clearly to corporate HR administrators.

    • SaaS Ecosystem Familiarity: Solid experience working inside B2B SaaS environments, case management software, or development lifecycle tools (e.g., Azure DevOps / ADO, Jira).

    • Execution & Attention to Detail: High data precision when auditing user inputs, system business rules, file feeds, and complex insurance life-event validations.

    • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and track multiple technical tickets simultaneously.
