As a member of the Advanced Therapies Supply Planning team, this senior MRP Planner is responsible for partnering with Global Supply Chain colleagues on key initiatives in the material planning function. The MRP planner owns the inventory management of raw materials ensuring product availability while optimizing cost, including Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory. The planner defines, measures, analyzes, implements improvements and planning control processes to ensure base business performance, launch readiness and long-term preparedness of the CAR-T manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain healthy inventory levels, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials. Contribute to the global balancing effort of Materials and Components ensuring efficient and effective procurement & inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost.
  • Develop, maintain, publish and communicate Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) to ensure that patients requirements are met.
  • Proactively identify issues that may impact supply, drive short- and long-term planning activities/processes and day-to-day planning
  • Drive S&OP maturity with suppliers by strengthening planning processes, improving demand and supply visibility.
  • Partner with key players including Vein to Vein, Operations, IT, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality to close existing issues, implement process improvements, and manage program complexities
  • Drive inventory health coverage, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives for portfolio materials
  • Represent Planning team in strategic projects and various leadership forums
  • Cross-train with peers to develop planning capabilities and agilely support tactical business needs
  • Quickly learn and ingest the complexities of advanced therapies materials including the dynamic nature and characteristics of these materials.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably with a focus in Engineering or Supply Chain
  • Supply Chain or Six Sigma Certification (e.g. APICS, Green Belt, Black Belt)

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Planning/Purchasing in a multi-national environment.
  • Ability to develop, coach and lead in a matrixed environment to enable the execution and realization of departmental and company goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence and partnership
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Experience within one or more of the following processes: master production schedule process, inventory management, supply chain management, scenario analysis, and/or sales and operations planning
  • Experience with Planning Systems such as SAP, OMP, or equivalent systems
  • Project Management experience

Other:

  • Requires up to 10% domestic and/or international travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€60.000,00 - €96.255,00
