As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control functions, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing authorized guests and deliveries.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
