Position Overview:

Alexander Group is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team in Chicago (on-site). In this role, you will be the visual champion for our brand—driving market awareness, elevating our digital footprint across web and social platforms, and pushing our visual identity into the future. This role will create polished, executive-ready design assets that support thought leadership, demand generation, events and website engagement for a global consulting audience.

Responsibilities:

Digital & Web Design

• Design cutting-edge visual assets and graphics for website features, interactive user experiences and high-converting social media campaigns.
• Conceptualize and create custom video thumbnails, motion graphics and digital ad creative.

Brand & Marketing Collateral

• Conceptualize, design and refresh brand collateral, whitepapers, case studies, digital research reports and campaign assets.
• Maintain strict brand consistency across all visual touchpoints, channels and marketing collateral.
• Design event branding, including presentation deck templates, banners, event collateral and signage.

Presentation & Sales Enablement

• Format, clean up and polish high-stakes PowerPoint presentations and pitch decks for leadership and external events.
• Develop customizable presentation templates to elevate internal design standards.

Creative Operations & Innovation

• Regularly curate, manage and optimize the firm’s digital asset and image libraries.
• Proactively integrate modern design software, workflow tool, and AI-driven creative tools to enhance speed, efficiency and creative iteration.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years of professional graphic and design experience, preferably in professional services, B2B marketing or agency environments.

Core Technical Stack 

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Web Experience

• Experience designing for or working within WordPress or Elementor is strongly preferred.

AI & Modern Workflow Tools

• Practical experience using generative AI design tools to optimize workflows, ideate and increase productivity is highly desirable.

Design Acumen

• Up-to-date knowledge of visual design trends, modern typography, digital media formats and visual hierarchy.

Professional Attributes

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with an ability to manage fast turnaround times and multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with cross-functional team members.
• Flexibility, adaptability and a positive problem-solving attitude when navigating last-minute feedback or shifting priorities.

Portfolio Required

• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative, modern B2B/corporate design, web graphic design and marketing collateral.

Salary Range: $75,000-85,000. Bonus eligible.
