A Warehouse Associate at White Cap…

  • Coaches and trains junior warehouse associates on proper process and procedure.

  • Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.

  • Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.

  • Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.

  • May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.

  • Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Generally has 5-7 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely; certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling processes
  • Proven ability to train, coach, and support associates while promoting safety, productivity, and operational excellence
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, RF scanners, or other computer-based warehouse tools
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy, order quality, and workplace safety
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, prioritize workload, and support daily warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of construction, industrial, or building material products and familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus
