Job Summary
The Oncology Customer Experience Intern will serve as the dedicated customer engagement resource supporting oncology healthcare professionals across the UAE. Rather than operating as a traditional product sales representative, this role focuses on delivering value beyond the medicine by coordinating stakeholders, facilitating timely patient access, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the oncology care pathway.
Working closely with the Senior Product Manager and cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Diagnostics, Commercial Excellence and Patient Support, the intern will become the primary operational point of contact for oncologists, oncology nurses, pharmacists, pathology laboratories and diagnostic partners.
The objective of the role is to simplify the customer journey, remove operational barriers, accelerate the pathway from diagnosis to treatment initiation, and generate actionable field insights that improve patient care and organizational effectiveness.
Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned oncology centres across the UAE
Build trusted relationships with oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, pathology departments, molecular laboratories and hospital administrators
Ensure customer questions are directed to the appropriate internal functions with timely follow-up
Deliver an outstanding customer experience by providing responsive, coordinated support beyond product discussions
Patient Journey & Care Coordination
Map patient journeys within assigned institutions to identify barriers between diagnosis and treatment initiation
Support hospitals in improving coordination between treating physicians and diagnostic laboratories
Facilitate timely communication between hospitals and external testing providers
Monitor patient pathway milestones and identify opportunities to reduce delays
Diagnostic & Testing Coordination
Act as liaison between healthcare providers and approved molecular diagnostic partners
Track testing requests and proactively follow up on outstanding cases
Support resolution of operational issues impacting molecular testing turnaround times
Help ensure eligible patients receive appropriate biomarker testing
Field Insights & Business Intelligence
Capture customer insights on operational challenges, patient journey bottlenecks and unmet needs
Identify recurring themes affecting diagnosis, testing and treatment initiation
Share structured field insights with internal teams
Support continuous improvement projects
Project & Event Support
Support oncology educational initiatives, advisory boards and customer workshops
Coordinate logistics with internal stakeholders and healthcare professionals
Assist with implementation of customer engagement projects
Maintain accurate documentation within CRM
Compliance
Operate in accordance with Johnson & Johnson Credo, HCC policies, UAE regulations and Pharmacovigilance requirements
Report adverse events and product quality complaints
Ensure all customer interactions remain ethical, compliant and patient-focused
Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences
Recently graduated in 2026 or 2025
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management abilities
Comfortable interacting with senior healthcare professionals
Passion for oncology and improving patient care
Fluent English (Arabic is advantageous)
UAE driving licence
