PURPOSE OF POSITION: A cashier’s responsibilities include assisting guests with directions, ensuring correct and prompt cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining the correct bank balance.
**You will be supporting one of several restaurant locations**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions
Ensure register is stocked with rolls of register tape, pens, clipboards, and a bottle opener
Count cash at beginning and end of shift
Have a complete knowledge of all food and beverage products to answer guest questions
Notify manager of any voids or refunds before the end of the day
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Understand and speak English
Previous cash handling experience preferred
