Overview

The Implementation and Quality Manager leads the successful onboarding of new AIT clients from start to finish, ensuring a smooth transition and full operational readiness. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams—including operations, brokerage, carriers, and warehouse functions—to align priorities and drive effective execution. The manager also conducts internal audits to evaluate compliance and performance against established standards, helping identify opportunities for improvement. By addressing gaps, implementing corrective actions, and fostering continuous improvement, this role plays a key part in enhancing service quality and delivering a consistent, high-level client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of operational processes, systems (TMS, WMS), and customer onboarding within freight forwarding operation
  • Standardize and optimize air, ocean, and ground freight processes to ensure efficiency and consistency across branches
  • Conduct internal audits on shipment documentation, customs filings, and service performance
  • Lead root cause analysis for service failures (delays, damages, customs holds) and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Train and develop teams on SOPs, compliance requirements, and operational best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean logistics and process optimization methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements (SAT, IMMEX, Annex 24/30), and company SOPs
  • Oversee quality standards for import/export documentation (BOL, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists)
  • Support commercial teams by ensuring smooth implementation of new customers and contracts
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

Education• Bachelor's Degree Business, Management of Information Systems, Quality Analysis, or related degree (required) Experience• 5+ years Business system implementation, process continuity, process improvement, or related experience (required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Microsoft Office Suite High • Cargo Wise Medium • Power BI Medium • SQL Medium • Process Mapping, Visio High • EDI Medium
