Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and managing all Supply Chain Management activities for the organization, including Procurement, Contracts, Logistics, Expediting, Warehousing, Inventory Management, and Vendor Management, in compliance with Company procedures, Group SCM policies, local regulations, and oil & gas industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Contracts ;

• Lead and supervise all procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services.
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s SCM procedures, Delegation of Authorities (DoA), ethics, and compliance requirements.
• Validate procurement strategies and sourcing plans for critical projects and operational activities.
• Supervise tendering activities including:
  • preparation of RFQs/RFPs,
  • bid evaluations,
  • commercial negotiations,
  • and contract award recommendations.
• Lead negotiations of frame agreements, long-term agreements, and strategic contracts.
• Ensure proper administration of contracts, variations, claims, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Support management in contractual and commercial risk assessments.

Logistics, Warehousing & Inventory ;

• Supervise logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transportation activities.
• Ensure proper expediting of critical materials and equipment.
• Oversee warehouse operations and inventory control to ensure:
  • stock accuracy,
  • preservation,
  • traceability,
  • and HSE compliance.
• Optimize inventory levels and critical spare parts management.
• Support development of warehousing strategies and third-party logistics solutions.

Vendor & Performance Management ;

• Develop and maintain approved vendor lists and prequalification systems.
• Ensure suppliers comply with Company QA/QC, HSE, and ethical standards.
• Participate in supplier audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
• Promote competition and cost optimization while maintaining technical and operational quality.
• Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and contractors.

Projects & Operations Support ;

• Coordinate closely with:
  • Projects,
  • Operations,
  • Maintenance,
  • Drilling,
  • HSE,
  • And Finance teams.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of long lead items and operationally critical equipment.
• Support major projects and drilling campaigns through proactive SCM planning and expediting.
• Participate in project reviews, KOMs, and risk assessments when required.

Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement ;

• Ensure full compliance with:
  • local regulations,
  • Company procedures,
  • anti-corruption policies,
  • and Group SCM governance requirements.
• Promote strong ethical standards and transparency in all SCM activities.
• Develop KPIs and reporting tools to monitor SCM performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, logistics, and warehousing activities.
• Support digitalization and ERP/SCM system improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree or professional SCM certification (CIPS or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within the oil & gas, energy, mining, or heavy industrial sector.
• Strong experience in:
  • procurement,
  • contracts management,
  • logistics,
  • warehousing,
  • and supplier management.
• Good knowledge of international contracts and commercial practices.
• Experience managing critical operational procurement and project procurement activities.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in an operational environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting capabilities.
• High level of integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.
