Korean Content Analyst (Corporate Actions)
About the Role
Corporate Actions
The Corporate Actions team is involved in maintaining information related to a wide range of corporate events, including:
- Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)
- Cash and stock dividends
- Changes in shares outstanding
- Public and private equity offerings
- Convertible bonds and debt-to-equity conversions
- Rights issues and capital increases
- Capital reductions
- Shareholder meetings and resolutions
- Corporate bankruptcy and liquidation events
- Other significant corporate activities
The Corax Beijing team covers non-English Asian markets, including China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan (China), Indonesia, and Thailand
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection, Analysis and Management
- Collect, maintain, and corporate actions data for Refinitiv products in an accurate, timely, and complete manner.
- Conduct research related to corporate actions and market events to develop a strong understanding of local markets and business activities.
- Apply both manual and automated tools to consolidate data and perform daily database maintenance.
- Continuously improve data accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency through process enhancements and automation initiatives.
Data Service Support
- Assist Client Support teams in resolving customer queries related to corporate actions data.
- Build and maintain relationships with external data providers.
- Update actions operational procedures and maintain market policy and regulatory documentation.
- Support global projects and collaborate with Corporate Actions colleagues across different regions to ensure high-quality data coverage and maintenance.
Qualifications
- CET-6 and Topic 6 or English proficiency, with strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Ability to work effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Diligent, patient, and comfortable working with numerical data.
- Strong self-motivation with a willingness to continuously learn and develop.
- Excellent partnership and collaboration skills.
