Description
The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our Systems Integration team as an individual contributor. This role is ideal for an engineer with significant IT and DevSecOps experience who is able to work both independently and collaboratively. You will be a key member of a small team that builds, deploys, configures, and maintains existing software systems for Navy C3I customers.
Responsibilities:
• Refine and enhance existing applications to best meet customer/operational requirements
• Apply system level knowledge (OS and hardware) to diagnose issues and provide solutions
• Execute the research, engineering, and development of solutions to support operational capabilities
• Profile, analyze, and optimize legacy operational software systems as necessary to meet continuously evolving cyber security requirements
• Develop and maintain user and administrative documentation to meet customer contract requirements
• Periodically travel onsite to integrate operational systems and updates
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or other relevant experience
• 5-7 years professional experience with DevSecOps, Systems Administration, and/or Systems Provisioning
• Solid Linux system and scripting experience with Python, Bash, and/or Ansible
• Solid understanding of software, complex design concepts, patterns, tools and best practices
• Solid understanding of virtualization and configuring hypervisor software
• Hands-on experience with popular CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Basic understanding of computer networking and common networking equipment
• Basic understanding of, and familiarity with Windows system administration
• Willing and able to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance. Current and active TS/SCI preferred.
Desired:
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
• Basic understanding of software, complex design concepts, distributed systems, networking, patterns, tools, and best
practices
• Familiarity with device boot processes, such as BIOS, UEFI, and PXE boot capabilities
• Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU virtualization
• Familiarity with Metal-as-a-Service metasystems, such as OpenShift
• Experience with the RMF process, CVE remediation and common scanning tools (Nessus, Trivy, SonarQube, JFrog Xray)
• Hands-on experience with Trellix ePolicy Administrator or Enterprise Security Manager
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Active Directory servers

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300 - 189,600 USD
