Description
As part of the central services team, you will drive Another Star's efforts to achieve world-class compliance in the domains of Health, Safety, Security & Risk Management. This includes researching, strategizing, and implementing best-in-class practices aimed at creating a safe environment for our employees and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Global Head of Risk & Control to define and execute the global Operational Risk & Compliance strategy, acting as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Continuously improve, innovate, and promote global Safety & Security processes and SOPs to enhance the long-term resilience of hotel operations.
- Spear(initiate) head the development and rollout of regionalized versions of Health & Safety Manuals specifically tailored to US codes and regulations.
- Co-Lead external safety and security partners in the US to ensure rigorous implementation of the operational-compliance framework, and oversee regular audits and operational risk assessments to proactively adapt to changing operational needs.
- Represent Operations and champion the Another Star Business Continuity Management (BCM) program globally.
- Hold global ownership of the corporate CCTV policy, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and safety standards.
- Support Another Star’s Head of Insurance by coordinating, planning, and executing Insurance Risk Engineering inspections, as well as managing the subsequent follow-up actions.
- Involved in establishing robust safety and security processes for new hotel openings across the US.
- Optimize Food Safety, Fire Safety, and Workplace Safety management to maintain a unified global framework with necessary local variations; ensure all documentation, requirements, and incidents are meticulously logged using our compliance software.
- Prepare and deliver advanced analytics, statistics, and strategic reports to update senior management on safety and security performance.
Qualifications / skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in the field of; Health & Safety, Security, Risk Management, Crisis Management, or similar.
- Relevant work experience in H&S, security.
- Willing to work from our office 2-3 days a week.
- Adapt to US East Coast hours approximately 2 days a week.
- Fluent in English.
