Medical Assistant/Endo-Richmond

This busy endocrinology practice is looking for a highly-organized, outgoing and friendly person to serve as its Medical Assistant. Applicants must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task. This is a great opportunity to join a talented and committed team of medical providers.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:

• triaging and rooming patients
• measuring and recording patient vitals in the EMR
• patient injections
• returning patient calls
• securing prior authorizations
• facilitating patient flow
• other duties as requested

Applicants must have:

• A minimum of two years of medical experience, preferred
• Proficient computer skills
• EMR Experience, eCW preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• $18.50 - $20 based on experience
