Senior Treasurer

EMCD is a leading technology company in the crypto industry, best known as the largest mining pool in Eastern Europe. We are expanding globally and building a comprehensive ecosystem of crypto services, including payment infrastructure, custody, mining solutions and enterprise-grade tools for businesses and institutions.

We are looking for a Treasury Manager to strengthen our international finance function and take ownership of day-to-day liquidity, payment and treasury operations across fiat and crypto assets.

This role is a strong fit for an experienced treasury professional who combines hands-on expertise in cash and liquidity management, international payments and financial controls with an understanding of crypto operations. You will work closely with banks, exchanges, payment providers and internal finance teams to ensure that company and user transactions are executed accurately, securely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fiat and cryptocurrency liquidity, including monitoring user withdrawals and redistributing funds between exchanges, wallets and other platforms.
• Monitor liquidity positions and ensure sufficient balances are available to support ongoing business and user operations.
• Execute daily fiat and cryptocurrency payments, ensuring accuracy, timely processing and compliance with internal approval procedures.
• Manage transaction limits and API keys for exchange accounts in line with internal security and financial controls.
• Maintain and update whitelisted addresses and participate in the setup and administration of Multisig wallets.
• Monitor transaction and network fees and identify opportunities to optimize payment costs.
• Monitor liquidity placements, including collateral levels for loans and other treasury positions.
• Work directly with banks, cryptocurrency exchanges and payment providers on payments, transfers, account operations and operational issues.
• Perform custodial operations and support the secure management of company crypto assets.
• Conduct daily monitoring and weekly reconciliation of company asset balances across bank accounts, exchanges and wallets.
• Prepare corporate wallet addresses for AML checks and coordinate with exchanges and other counterparties on compliance-related requests.
• Maintain strong treasury controls, including approval matrices, transaction limits and reconciliation procedures.
• Support the continuous improvement and automation of treasury processes, controls and reporting.

Requirements

• Strong practical experience in cash and liquidity management, treasury operations or a related finance function.
• Hands-on experience with payments, international transfers and payment controls.
• Experience working directly with banks, payment providers or other financial institutions.
• Strong bank and cash reconciliation skills and the ability to work confidently with large volumes of transactions.
• Understanding of financial controls, approval matrices and transaction limits.
• Basic understanding of FX and cryptocurrency operations; hands-on crypto experience is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with Treasury Management Systems, ERP or BI tools is a plus.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a high level of ownership and responsibility.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize operational tasks and respond quickly to time-sensitive treasury matters.
