Description
Our client is a 5* very high-end International Chain Hotel in a key city in Southern China.
The hotel is still in pre-opening phase, opening is scheduled for Q3/Q4 2027.
You will be heavily involved in the pre-opening activities and will later oversee the day to day F&B operations of this unique property, leading and mentoring a team of passionate professionals to deliver a truly memorable guest experience. The Executive Chef will report directly to the DOFB.
This role will be reporting directly to the Hotel Manager.
For this position, both Expats and Chinese Nationals are being considered.
Profile
• 5* high-end international chain and city hotel experience
• China experience
• Pre-opening experience
• Strong luxury foundation in internationally branded properties
• Strong knowledge of working practices and principles in a 5-star hospitality setting
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Highly interactive, people friendly, sensitive to staff needs and a great team player
• Able to deal effectively with guests in a luxury hotel environment
• Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
• Actively involved in ensuring excellent guest experience and innovate in revenue generating efforts
• Well presented, sociable, outgoing pleasant personality
• Familiar with budgeting and costing
• Computer literate
• Strong guest contact
