Applied Regulations: - Data Center cooling Systems

1) To review & validate the transposition documents and approve requirements from transposition  

2) To review, validate R-SPPC & Regulation standards

3) To ensure regulatory compliance in projects by conducting design reviews & assess the risks involved

4) To provide guidance to GETs, METs and Engineers & Sr Engineers. 

5) To have wide knowledge on applicable regulations viz. Energy efficiency, Mechanical / Thermal / Electrical / Fire Safety, Hardware & Software, Environmental (Materials - RoHS, REACH), Seismic, Facility requirements and Sustainability requirements (LCA). 

Expected Regulations:

1) To review the process of  circulation the information on draft/proposed regulation revision/amendments from Regulation Formulation Working Groups / Web sources and circulate to stakeholders

2) To represent Valeo in Regulatory Formulation Working Groups for technical comments and cascade the meetings summary to stakeholders

3) To be well versed  and preferably a part of a working group in US, Europe, India, Japan and China.  

4) To be part and aware of various working groups like, ASHRAE, Open Compute Project (OCP), Technical Green Grid (TGG), European Data Centre Association (EUDCA),  Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact (CNDCP), Open Data Center Committee (ODCC), Japan Data Center Council (JDCC) & Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Data Center Committee. 

Product Certification: 

1) To review Application/Information documents, review and finalise based on country specific type approval regulations & requirements

2) To review engineers' validation the product test reports, drawings, product markings & labelling, instruction/user manuals, etc and ensure compliance

3) To interact with Global Test Agencies/Technical Services for product testing  & certification activities follow-up

4) To have a budget estimate and control of projects

Team Management:

1) To define SMART Goals to team members aligning with the Senior Management Goals and 100% achievement of assigned tasks

2) To ensure 100% adherence of Valeo Policies by all team members"
