URBN Inventory Analyst

Role Summary

URBN is hiring an Inventory Analyst to join an amazing team! The Inventory Analyst supports the accurate capitalization of certain costs to the Inventory financial statement line item. 

Role Responsibilities

• Reviews merchandise invoices and match purchase orders associated with each invoice
• Accurately calculates pro-ration of transportation charges against respective purchase orders and assigns a GL Code; sends to Accounts Payable Department for payment
• Prorates and allocates freight charges to purchase orders in Island Pacific ledger upon payment
• Performs research where necessary to facilitate accurate and timely prepaid merchandise matching
• Provide support services to the Inventory Accounting team and completes ad hoc tasks and other responsibilities as deemed necessary
• Assists in various inventory related reporting

Role Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
• Able to work with high degree of accuracy and integrity; highly detail-oriented
• Capable of navigating through financial systems
• Ability to manage high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate Excel skills
