Position Overview
H.B. Fuller is seeking a Fixed Assets Specialist to support global fixed asset accounting, compliance, and reporting across Europe, North America, ANZ, and LATAM. This role ensures accurate asset accounting, financial controls, and compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and internal policies. The position also contributes to process harmonization, automation, and finance system improvement initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage fixed asset close activities and reporting.
Maintain accurate fixed asset records and classifications.
Process asset additions, transfers, disposals, and write-offs.
Monitor assets under construction and capitalization activities.
Record depreciation, amortization, and journal entries.
Reconcile fixed asset subledger to the general ledger.
Support audits, tax reporting, and physical asset verifications.
Contribute to process automation, SAP enhancements, and continuous improvement projects.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in fixed asset accounting.
Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, depreciation methodologies, SOX, and financial controls.
Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Professional English communication skills and authorization to work in the hiring location.
Experience in a multinational company or shared service environment.
Knowledge of CAPEX management and capital project accounting.
Experience delivering finance systems or process improvement initiatives.
Participation in ERP implementations, shared services, or process harmonization projects.
