Ready to take ownership of one of Auckland's biggest live entertainment venues? Send through your resume and a cover letter telling us why this role is the right next step for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- VIP + Premium hospitality delivery: Own the end to end planning and execution of Premium Hospitality across every Spark Arena event, including ICON Suites, SKYBOXES and the Premium Lounge.
- Client management: Handle pre event communications with hospitality clients, from menu selections and dietary needs through to invoicing and general enquiries.
- ICON Suite account management: Build strong relationships with annual suite holders, maximising utilisation and identifying ways to enhance the suite experience.
- Team leadership: Recruit, train and manage the Premium Hospitality casual workforce, briefing them for each event.
- Membership growth: Manage the membership database through Archtics and work with the marketing team to drive sign ups and engagement across all comms channels.
- Commercial support: Assist the Head of Business Development with proposals, venue hire enquiries and initiatives that grow premium revenue.
- Reporting and improvement: Complete post event reporting, spotting opportunities to refine and elevate the hospitality offering.
What you’ll bring:
- Industry experience: A background in event management, hospitality, venue operations or account management.
- Multitasking under pressure: Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, live event environment.
- Team leadership: Experience leading and motivating teams, including casual or event based staff.
- Commercial acumen: Strong administrative skills, with experience in budgeting, reporting and operational processes.
- Relationship building: A natural ability to build rapport with clients, suite holders and internal stakeholders alike.
- Growth mindset: A knack for spotting opportunities to improve processes, elevate guest experience or drive business growth.
The Benefits:
- A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
- A flexible approach to when and where you work, designed to support balance in all aspects of life.
- Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
- A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
- Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.
