Description
NurseCore is seeking a CNA to provide in-home care for an adult male paraplegic client in the Southwest Las Vegas area (89148), Wednesdays and Thursdays, 7p - 7a.
Responsibilities may vary based on the client’s needs:- Assist with bedtime routine and personal care
- Prepare meals as needed
- Perform light housekeeping, including dishes
- Run errands as needed
- Support mobility using a Hoyer lift, while the patient uses upper body strength to assist
- Provide hygiene care and maintain dryness
- Respond to occasional requests in the middle of the night (e.g., snacks or comfort items)
- Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to ensure safety and timely assistance
- Run errands as needed
- Perform other duties as necessary
Must have the following qualifications to be considered:
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- At least one year of CNA or HHA experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CNA license in the State of Nevada
- Current, hands-on CPR certification in compliance with AHA
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Successful background check
- Pay rate: $20 to $22 / hour
