Description
We have been retained by a $10B global building products manufacturer who is investing $1B in a new commercial division in the US. They are seeking a National Strategic Accounts Manager to drive project opportunities and specification influence within the Data Center and Cold Storage markets across North America.
What You'll Do
This role will focus on building strategic relationships with Owners, Developers, General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, and Consultants to create demand and secure project opportunities early in the design and planning process.
The successful candidate will serve as a key advocate for the client's Full Envelope Strategy, collaborating across the business units to increase adoption of their Full Envelope Warranty solutions.
- Develop and execute a national growth strategy for Data Center and Cold Storage markets
- Create project demand through early engagement with Owners, Developers, Architects, Engineers, and General Contractors
- Influence project specifications and design decisions to position solutions
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key national accounts and industry influencers
- Drive adoption of Roofing + Insulated Panels and Full Envelope Warranty programs
- Identify and coordinate cross-selling opportunities across business units
- Track project opportunities, market activity, and sales forecasts through Salesforce
- Deliver presentations, educational programs, and project-specific solutions to customers and stakeholders
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support growth initiatives
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-10+ years of successful sales, business development, specification, or project influence experience within commercial construction, building envelope, roofing, insulated panels, or related industries
- Proven success engaging Architects, Owners, Developers, Engineers, and General Contractors
- Experience influencing large-scale project specifications and managing complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of the design, specification, and construction process
- Data Center, Cold Storage, or Building Envelope experience preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel throughout North America as required
