Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Overnight Home Care

Position Type: Part-Time – Overnight
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide overnight home care support in Stoney Creek on a part-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working overnight hours and providing respectful, person-centred care while supporting the individual's comfort, safety, and daily needs. A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene as required
• Support mobility and safe movement within the home
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and care-related household tasks
• Monitor comfort and safety throughout the overnight shift
• Follow the established care plan and report any concerns or changes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Communicate professionally with the care team and family members as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• PSW certification or equivalent healthcare training
• Previous experience in home care or personal support is preferred
• Comfortable working overnight shifts
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
