Medical Staff Services - Medical Staff Bylaws & Governance Specialist

Delta Health System is seeking a dedicated Medical Staff Bylaws & Governance Specialist to join our patient-focused team.

Requirements:

• Provides specialized, project-based support for the review, revision, organization, and maintenance of Delta Health System's Medical Staff governance documents.
• Conduct a comprehensive review and revision of the Medical Staff Bylaws and Medical Staff Rules & Regulations, working collaboratively with Medical Staff leadership, Administration, Medical Staff Services, Compliance, Quality, and legal counsel as appropriate.
• Ensure that Medical Staff governance documents are current, internally consistent, operationally practical, and aligned with applicable federal and state requirements, accreditation standards, hospital policies, and recognized Medical Staff governance practices.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in Medical Staff Services, Medical Staff governance, credentialing, healthcare administration, regulatory compliance, hospital administration, or a related healthcare field strongly preferred
