Commercial Auto Liability & Property Damage Claims Adjuster | Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Property Damage Claims Adjuster to join their claims team. This position will focus on commercial auto and trucking losses involving third-party property damage. The ideal candidate will have experience managing transportation-related claims from initial assignment through resolution and be comfortable independently investigating losses, evaluating exposure, and negotiating settlements.

This is a fully remote Temporary-to-Hire opportunity with qualified candidates needing to possess an active Texas Adjusters License.

Responsibilities

• Handle a low pending of 65-85 commercial auto and trucking property damage claims from initial assignment through resolution.
• Investigate losses and evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and overall claim exposure.
• Manage third-party property damage claims involving commercial vehicles and transportation risks.
• Handle total loss claims when applicable.
• Review estimates, supporting documentation, investigative findings, and other claim materials to determine appropriate resolution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and other involved parties.
• Identify potential subrogation opportunities and recognize files requiring additional fraud investigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience handling commercial auto and/or trucking liability claims required.
• Strong experience with third-party property damage claims.
• Experience handling commercial auto total losses preferred.
• No-Fault claims experience strongly preferred.
• Active adjuster license required, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
• Strong knowledge of coverage, liability investigations, damages, negotiations, and claim resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload while working effectively within a claims team.
