About the role
- Monitor and support hardware, software, and network systems across the customer environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving basic incidents related to servers, operating systems, and network devices.
- Follow standard procedures for routine configuration changes and updates, escalating complex issues to higher-level support.
- Support scheduled maintenance activities and assist in executing approved changes.
- Act as a first point of contact for incident reporting and initial troubleshooting.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures accurately.
- Support the preparation of reports and dashboards related to service performance.
- Collaborate with senior team members to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
- Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation and knowledge bases.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational standards.
About you
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support, server administration, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of server hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with network components and troubleshooting (firewalls, switches, routers).
- Knowledge of backup and restore technologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
