The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Marine Corps Oracle EBS R12 system that provides functions including asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial information.

Responsibilities:

The desired candidate will work on an Agile development team supporting cyber compliance for various Oracle products, software, and tools:

• Cyber developer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Technical Cyber controls.

• Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined in compliance with approved Agile approach including researching and configuring cyber controls.

• Review technical design documentation and vendor documentation and to understand and gain knowledge about the cyber functions provided.

• Interact with government product owners and other SMEs to analyze requirements and provide solutions.

• Review Change Requests and aid in gathering requirements and identifying solutions.

• Tune and optimize related code and related systems level configurations.

• Provide technical support during the release testing phases.

• Provide detailed deployment instructions for successful migration/backout of code.

• Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.

• Drive meetings with product owners and manage the analysis through design and development phases.

• As required, provide updates to related deliverables.

• Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule including testing plans.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Experience in Cyber Security controls and remediation.

• Experience working in Oracle Linux environment and shell scripting.

• Ability to harden Oracle products including applications, technology stack, database, OS, and tools per DoD requirements.

• Proficiency in secure coding practices and code review methodologies.

• Work with vendors, specifically Oracle, on service requests as required.

• Ability to develop professional documentation and other written materials.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security for Oracle platforms.

• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIG, FIPS 140-2 and related guidelines.

• CompTIA Security + certification.

• U.S. Citizenship.

• Eligible to pass a T3 Background Investigation.

Desired:

• Experience in Marine Corps/DoD Cybersecurity processes.

• Experience in Agile methodology.

• Experience in applying STIGs and cyber controls to Oracle applications including Oracle EBS R12.2.x, and Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c or higher.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
