About Nevada Residential Services
Built on stability, integrity, and outstanding service, Nevada Residential Services is a trusted leader in residential home comfort across Las Vegas. We pride ourselves on creating a positive, supportive, and drama-free work culture where technicians are treated like professionals and given every tool to succeed. In a city where summer heat makes HVAC vital, we stand out by prioritizing quality workmanship, full-system diagnostics, and customer education above quick fixes.
About the Role
As an HVAC Technician at Nevada Residential Services, your primary purpose is to deliver thorough, expert diagnostics and solutions to residential homeowners. Rather than rushing through band-aid repairs, you act as a clinical evaluator for home comfort systems—identifying root causes, educating customers, and offering clear options. You are critical to our mission because your process-driven approach ensures system reliability for homeowners while naturally driving top-tier compensation for your career.
Compensation & How Pay Works
We offer a high-earning performance pay structure paired with a protective pay floor. Your hourly rate acts as a guaranteed minimum against performance pay—which for top performers will be higher. You always receive whichever payout is higher each week, with uncapped upside across all tiers, including earned commissions on maintenance plans and turnover commissions.
-
Requirements & Pay Floor Scale (Rates are negotiable based on proven capability; experience brackets serve as approximate guidelines):
-
3–5 Years Experience: $28.00 – $31.00/hr floor
-
5–8 Years Experience: $32.00 – $35.00/hr floor
-
8+ Years / Lead Techs: $36.00 – $40.00/hr floor
-
-
How Weekly Pay Works (Example):
-
If your agreed rate is $30/hr, your 40-hour weekly floor is $1,200.
-
If you earn $2,000 in weekly performance pay (via service revenue, maintenance plans, and turnover commissions), you receive $2,000 (performance pay replaces the floor, as top performer earnings will be higher).
-
If call volume slows and you earn $1,000 in performance pay, the company makes up the additional $200 so you take home your full $1,200 floor.
-
(Overtime, when applicable, is calculated separately per standard payroll rules).
-
-
Total Earning Potential: $86,320 – $136,240+ annually (includes performance incentives, maintenance plan sign-ups, and turnover commissions).
-
Pay Floor Eligibility: To maintain eligibility for the weekly pay floor, technicians must maintain standard full-time shift availability, meet attendance standards, accept dispatched calls, and follow company service processes and policies.
Benefits & Perks
-
Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (effective after 90 days).
-
