Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC, a producer of block, brick, pavers, and retaining wall block, is looking to immediately fill a Machine Operator role at its Chambersburg location.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday
- 6:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Overtime on Fridays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing machines with basic computer skills
- Work on concrete production line, pulling defective product and placing finished products on pallets
- Work with team members to complete daily production goals
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
- Ensure that equipment is in proper working order and report any suspected problems to supervisor
- Inspect product for any quality control issues
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery as needed
- Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
- Clean machine properly as necessary
- Maintain a clean working environment

Requirements
- Willingness and ability to learn the various machines and take instruction from supervisor and other experienced operators
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Dependable, detail-oriented and quality driven
- Trouble shooting skills a plus
- Ability to read/write/understand English
