Description

The Director of Partner Success leads VersiTech’s Partner Success organization, driving revenue growth and portfolio expansion across our Bold and Tonic client base through the strategic leadership and development of our Partner Success Managers.

Company Overview
At VersiTech, we go beyond the traditional boundaries of a tech company to provide payment and point-of-sale technologies that help businesses increase their profitability, run efficiently, and grow with confidence. We are innovators at heart, problem-solvers in action, and growth partners in spirit. In every solution we create and every service we offer, our ethos is clear: technology should be advanced, accessible, and easy to use. We have a passion for delivering technology-focused products and services that are built on speed, affordability, and reliability so that every business we serve enjoys a consistent experience with a trusted ally. Our two product lines, BOLD Integrated Payments and Tonic POS Software can be deployed together for a unified end-to-end experience or used independently for maximum flexibility.

Listening first, building lasting relationships, and delivering measurable outcomes for our partners and merchants are central to how we operate as an organization.

Who We Are
We operate under a rapidly growing and widely accepted business philosophy called “EOS” (Entrepreneurial Operating System). In learning to utilize EOS, you will have the ability to drive growth and be an empowered decision maker, something that you can’t get in large, slow-moving organizations.

As we grow, we are intentional about protecting our small-company spirit: staying agile, taking ownership, and maintaining strong relationships. We strive to live our values every day and in every way. We believe culture is built through the habits we practice: Value + Habit = Culture, and we are looking for others who feel the same way:

  • We are ALL IN: We are committing wholeheartedly to a clear vision. Mission first and team always by: following through, owning outcomes, and finishing what we start for the success of ALL involved: our employees, our partners, our vendors, our communities, and our customers.
  • We DARE TO BE DIFFERENT: We embrace our entrepreneurial DNA and small-company spirit as we scale, taking responsibility as first movers, simplifying the complex, and maintaining a culture of fun and approachability while prioritizing our partners and team members first.
  • We are HUMAN: We are grounded in accountability and genuineness, we build strong relationships by listening to understand, communicating clearly, speaking truth with care, and respecting different perspectives with grace as we grow.
How You Will Make an Impact:
The Director of Partner Success is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy.  You will lead a high-performing team of POS and Bold Partner Success Managers, to unlock our revenue streams, expand our footprint within key accounts, and drive significant quarter-over-quarter growth across our entire client portfolio.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for proactive engagement with the team handling both Bold and Tonic clients, exceed revenue targets and drive new business by leading, mentoring and educating team members, supporting their growth and maximizing the revenue potential of the client portfolios.

You will report into the Vice President of Channel Partnerships, Colette A. Markham.

Performance Metrics:
  • Achieve high client retention rates across the department.
  • Drive quarter-over-quarter revenue and new client growth.
  • Increase YOY percentage of growth in assigned portfolio of clients.
  • Meet or exceed the target for monthly client calls, visits and QBR’s.

What You’ll Be Driving Day-To-Day:
  • Define and cascade strategic growth objectives that directly align with enterprise revenue targets and market expansion priorities.
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor, guiding the team on high-stakes client negotiations, complex partnerships, and long-term expansion strategies.
  • Drive accountability and performance through data-driven KPIs, structured coaching, and consistent pipeline reviews, cultivating a culture of results, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate:
  • Deep understanding of the payment processing and POS ecosystem, including ISV and VAR relationship dynamics.
  • A proven ability to solve complex business challenges, leveraging data-driven insights to unlock new revenue streams and accelerate market penetration.
  • A track record of delivering significant, measurable revenue growth through strategic partnerships, channel optimization and market expansion.

Operational Excellence & Leadership:
  • Champion operational discipline while fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for strategic client challenges, ensuring swift resolution and business continuity.
  • Direct the team in conducting advanced profitability and growth analysis, converting insights into actionable strategies that maximize revenue potential and client value.

You’ll Know You’re Successful When:
  • Your team is the first call for high-stakes client and partnership decisions - not because you insert yourself, but because leadership and clients trust their judgment.
  • Your Partner Success Managers can explain how their own goals ladder up to company growth strategy without needing you to re-translate it each quarter.
  • Your team is proactively surfacing new revenue opportunities within existing accounts rather than only responding to what clients bring to them.
  • Data-driven decision making is the default way the team operates; insight shows up in how they plan.
  • You’re developing your Partner Success Managers into future leaders - the department has a bench, not just headcount.
  • Client relationships hold steady through account handoffs or team transitions because the relationship lives with the team, not just with you.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in client management and sales management.
  • Strong understanding of revenue generation strategies and client engagement practices.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in mentoring or coaching team members.
  • Ability to analyze data, set strategic goals, and implement effective solutions.

The hours of operation for this role will fall between 8am-5pm per your time zone.
This is a remote role with moderate travel expectations (up to 50%).
You will have a base salary plus an annual variable compensation plan for this role.
