- Compile editorial and content team revisions, mark printer and digital proofs, and verify implementation of requested changes.
- Review content prepared for web publication to ensure consistency across all materials, correct formatting issues, and verify that late-breaking updates have been incorporated accurately.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-launch quality assurance reviews of enduring web products, verifying functionality, navigation, links, embedded media, downloadable materials, and overall user experience.
- Ensure compliance with company editorial standards, patient privacy requirements, copyright policies, and established production procedures.
- Exercise sound editorial judgment when accepting or rejecting copy edits, communicating recommendations and changes clearly to editors and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve language quality, readability, usability, and consistency across all published content.
Workflow & Process Management
- Serve as a production "air traffic controller," maintaining visibility across multiple simultaneous projects and coordinating dependencies among teams.
- Maintain and update production workflows, standard operating procedures, style guides, and documentation as needed.
