Join Ecolab’s industry-leading Food & Beverage team as a Service Technician. We help customers improve food safety and product quality, enhance sustainability, and boost operational efficiency. Through our cleaning and sanitation solutions, we support food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments by providing technical service, equipment maintenance, and customer consultation. This entry-level technical position is responsible for delivering service excellence, supporting customer operations, and ensuring the effective performance of Ecolab products and equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver technical service and support to customers in food, beverage, dairy, manufacturing, and industrial environments

  • Perform equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities

  • Conduct routine inspections, system audits, and process evaluations to ensure optimal equipment and program performance

  • Monitor chemical application systems and recommend adjustments to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and sustainability outcomes

  • Consult with customers on technical, chemical, mechanical, and application-related issues

  • Collect, analyze, and communicate operational data and service results through reports and customer reviews

  • Execute field trials, validations, and implementation of new products, technologies, and service programs

  • Establish, verify, and document sanitation, hygiene, and operational standards through regular customer visits

  • Support customers in achieving food safety, water management, productivity, and equipment reliability objectives

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend solutions that create value for customers

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations

  • Maintain accurate service documentation and achieve monthly safety and service metrics

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside in: Saint Lucia

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field

  • Experience working in a technical service, maintenance, operations, or industrial environment

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications

Physical Demands:

  • Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 kilograms at chest height

  • Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, cold environments, and hot environments

  • Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related disciplines

  • Experience working in Food & Beverage manufacturing plants, water treatment operations, utilities, or industrial production facilities

  • Knowledge of pumps, dosing systems, instrumentation, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment

  • Experience with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis

  • Understanding of sanitation programs, water treatment systems, or chemical application technologies

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, process diagrams, and equipment manuals

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Willingness to work flexible schedules and respond to customer needs outside regular business hours
