This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry experience, deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, and a passion for driving operational excellence through architecture governance, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture & Governance

• Support architecture governance processes, standards, and best practices.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) reviews and provide architectural guidance for technology initiatives.
• Evaluate technology solutions for alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, scalability, and business objectives.
• Contribute to architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.
• Assist in driving adoption of architecture and technology standards across the organization.

ServiceNow Architecture & Platform Leadership

• Serve as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules.
• Partner with platform owners and engineering teams to improve ServiceNow-based workflows and governance processes.
• Design scalable solutions leveraging ServiceNow platform capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate architecture review and governance processes using ServiceNow.

AI Augmentation & Innovation

• Research emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to Enterprise Architecture and governance processes.
• Explore AI-assisted approaches for architecture reviews, intake management, knowledge discovery, solution recommendations, and compliance validation.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to design AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
• Stay current on industry trends related to AI, automation, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements that reduce manual effort and accelerate decision-making.
• Drive automation opportunities across architecture and governance workflows.
• Support modernization initiatives focused on improving scalability, quality, and delivery speed.
• Promote a culture of innovation, simplification, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work effectively with geographically distributed teams across North America, India, and other global locations.
• Facilitate architecture discussions, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
• Produce clear architecture documentation, presentations, standards, and recommendations.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Platform Architecture, or related roles.

Knowledge and Skills:

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and ecosystem.
• Experience with enterprise governance, architecture reviews, technology standards, and solution evaluation.
• Understanding of cloud architectures, integration patterns, APIs, data management, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Proven ability to analyze complex technology problems and provide practical architectural recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-driven, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI, Generative AI, AI Agents, or AI-assisted development and operations.
• Experience designing automation solutions using ServiceNow or other enterprise workflow platforms.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Experience with technology governance, compliance, risk management, or architecture review processes.
• Exposure to digital transformation, enterprise integration, and platform modernization initiatives.
