Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain VBA-based tools and Excel macros to automate budget costing and workflows between financial systems
• Identify inefficiencies in current processes or/and tools and implement automated solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across pricing systems and reporting outputs
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing tools, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Document processes, tools, and solutions to ensure sustainability and knowledge sharing
• Support ad hoc requests related to pricing tools/budgets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Proven experience with VBA programming and macro development
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience with pricing, finance, or commercial finance is preferred

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in CRO industry supporting RFPs and study budgets.
• Familiarity with CRM or financial systems (e.g., Salesforce, ERP tools)
• Background in process improvement or continuous improvement methodologies
