About the role:The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) provides a professional service in laboratory analyses and interpretation all areas of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine/Immunology. The MLT contributes to the hospital’s goals by providing accurate and timely results in a manner consistent with professional standards. The MLT is a technical resource to staff, physicians, internal and external customers.
What you’ll bring:
- Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program and CSMLS certification as a General MLT
- 30 hours of continuing education credits every year as per CMLTO
- Member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem assessment skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated individual leadership skills
