Access Management Coordinator

Location: 1 London Bridge, London
Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 1 year
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

We're looking for an Access Management Coordinator to join our ITG team.

As an Access Management Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting secure, compliant and efficient access to systems and data across HCA UK. Working within the Access & Service Management team, you'll be responsible for processing access requests, supporting the joiners, movers and leavers process, and helping to ensure users have the appropriate access to perform their roles safely and effectively. You'll work closely with colleagues across HR, IT, Information Security and the wider business to deliver a high-quality access management service while maintaining compliance with governance requirements and best practice.

Above all else, we're committed to the care and improvement of human life. It's this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to colleagues across our hospitals, offices and support functions, we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. While others may see this as an IT role, to us you'll play a vital part in ensuring our workforce has secure and appropriate access to the systems that underpin patient care and business operations every day.

What you'll do:

  • Process access requests accurately and within agreed service levels.

  • Support the end-to-end access management lifecycle for joiners, movers and leavers.

  • Maintain user access records and ensure documentation is kept up to date.

  • Work with managers and stakeholders to ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.

  • Support adherence to role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.

  • Assist with access reviews, audits and compliance activities.

  • Investigate and resolve routine access-related queries and issues.

  • Escalate complex or high-risk requests where appropriate.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within access management processes.

  • Assist with ongoing enhancements to IAM and service management tools.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience within Identity & Access Management (IAM), service desk, IT support, or IT service operations.

  • Understanding of access management processes and information security principles.

  • Experience working with directory services such as Active Directory.

  • Exposure to Identity Governance and ITSM tools, such as SailPoint and ServiceNow, would be advantageous.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
