Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists for projects located in or around Valencia, CA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Program, set up, and operate multi-turn CNC lathe machines
- Select and install correct machining parameters and control settings
- Regulate variable factors during the manufacturing process
- Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical specifications
- Establish tooling requirements, setup procedures, and operational sequences
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections
- Utilize precision measurement equipment and OGP inspection programs for valves
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues to maintain quality and efficiency
- Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven ability to program, set up, and operate multi-turn CNC lathe machines
- Proficiency with precision measurement equipment
- Experience using OGP inspection programs
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and planning sheets
- Working knowledge of basic algebra and geometry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
