About the Role:
Addiction Pet Foods is looking for an experienced Order Management Specialist – Chinese Speaking to manage customer orders from receipt through dispatch and delivery.
The role requires strong experience in order management, export logistics, ERP/SAP, customer coordination, and shipping documentation, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking customers and stakeholders.
You will serve as a key point of contact for order and export-related matters, working closely with Sales, Planning, Production, Warehouse, customers, freight providers, and other logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and validate customer orders accurately in SAP/ERP, including order changes and destination requirements.
- Monitor order status, product availability, back orders, and short shipments to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Sales, and logistics providers from order receipt through delivery.
- Serve as a key Point of Contact for export orders, providing timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare and verify export and shipping documents, including Certificates of Origin, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate local and international freight, container bookings, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.
- Manage customer concerns, claims, replacements, and credit note requirements.
- Support inventory allocation and FIFO/FEFO controls and escalate stock shortages when required.
- Identify and implement process and system improvements within order management, fulfillment, and distribution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Order Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain, preferably within food, pet food, or FMCG.
- Chinese-speaking capability is required for communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP/order management systems.
- Experience with export documentation, international shipping, freight coordination, and trade compliance.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple orders and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Experience implementing order management or logistics process improvements is highly desirable.
