Job Description & Summary

At PwC Canada, we’re more than a professional services firm—we’re a community of solvers tackling the world’s most important problems. As an Intern in our market leading Deals practice, you’ll be part of a diverse, inclusive team that values your perspective and empowers you to make a real impact. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real client work, explore how businesses operate, and learn how trust is built through compliance and strategic planning.

You’ll be joining a firm that’s invested in your success from day one. You’ll gain hands-on experience with our AI-powered audit tools and participate in our national upskilling program, designed to help you build future-ready capabilities in data, technology, and business acumen. Working with market-leading clients across diverse industries, you’ll be exposed to complex, real-world challenges that accelerate your professional growth.
Grow here, go further.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve:

You’ll develop your consulting skills in a dynamic, diverse, and fast paced strategy and M&A team focused on helping create and capture value throughout an acquisition or a divestiture. You’ll help clients grow faster and work smarter and solve problems that matter and create tangible value through strategy, value creation and M&A. Types of projects you’ll work on include growth and turnaround strategies, fully integrated due diligence, organisational design, data analytics, operational excellence, and the creation/ review of  financial models. Whatever issues you’re solving with your client, you’ll work with inspiring leaders who will help you achieve your goals and be your best. You'll quickly develop business acumen, as well as core consulting, project management, and coaching skills.

When you join us, you’ll have the opportunity to develop consulting skills in Strategy, Analytics, Corporate Development, Financial Modelling, AI, and Operations all within your first 2 years. As you progress your career, you’ll have the opportunity to align to a few of these core skills, based on your interest and business needs.

You’ll also have the opportunity to gain knowledge and serve clients across industries and sectors including Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Mining and Industrial Products, Defence, Technology, Communications, Retail & Consumer, and Private Equity.

With connectivity being a key enabler of our strategy, our objective is to become the most connected firm - connected to our clients, our communities and to each other. PwC follows an Activity Based Work model, where our PwC professionals engage in a diverse range of activities from our offices, from client sites, or our homes.

What you’ll bring to this role:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas

  • Strong executive presentation and synthesis skills to present our work and findings to our clients

Job Posting End Date

We’re committed to providing accommodation throughout the application, interview, and employment process. If you require accommodation to be at your best, please let us know during the application process.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruiting is just getting started, so we know you have questions about how and why we use it. At certain points during our recruiting process, we rely on AI to improve your experience. This could be during resume review or curating personalized job recommendations, asking you clarifying questions via a chatbot or during our interview scheduling to improve your experience. Our use of AI helps ensure we combat bias by evaluating candidates equally and fairly, without seeing identity information, such as your name, or gender for example). AI also helps us better predict successful hires by reviewing all applicants for a role and the relationship between your skills, experience and likely success at PwC Canada. While AI supports parts of our recruitment process, final hiring decisions always involve human review. For more information about our use and protection of your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy (https://www.pwc.com/ca/en/privacy-policy.html).
