Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide essential health support to students from early childhood through high school throughout the school year in Long Beach, CA.
Position Overview
- Provide health office support to students in pre-K through 12th grade, including students with disabilities and specialized medical needs.
- Administer medications and provide first aid and other routine health-related care in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and respond appropriately to students’ changing health needs in a fast-paced school environment while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication with staff.
- Work across various school campuses and maintain flexibility with varying start/end times and weekly assignments.
Qualifications
- Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Experience supporting students with disabilities, special medical needs, medication administration, and first aid preferred
