Banker, Vice President – Corporate Banking U.S. Subsidiaries – Healthcare or Consumer Coverage

The Vice President leads coverage of a portfolio of multinational Healthcare or Consumer clients in the U.S., with responsibility for client acquisition, relationship growth and wallet expansion. Serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives, the Banker brings industry expertise, strategic insight and the full breadth of Citi's capabilities to help clients achieve their business objectives.

The role requires strong commercial leadership, business development and execution skills, working across Citi's platform to originate opportunities, deepen client engagement and drive franchise growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of Industrials clients in the U.S., serving as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor.

• Grow client relationships, increase wallet share and strengthen Citi's position as a core banking partner.

• Identify, originate and execute opportunities across Citi's banking, markets, services and risk management platforms.

• Build relationships with senior executives across client organizations, expanding Citi's access beyond treasury.

• Win new business from existing clients and prospects, driving franchise growth.

• Lead client coverage teams to execute strategy, deliver solutions and achieve growth objectives.

• Bring industry insights and strategic ideas to clients.

• Drive execution of financing opportunities, transactions and other strategic initiatives.

• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and market developments.

• Mentor junior bankers and contribute to a high-performance culture.

• Exercise sound judgment and disciplined risk management.

• Partner with Banking Industry teams to deliver insights that strengthen client relationships and deliver business growth through increased impact

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, or related financial services experience.

• Proven ability to build, manage and grow relationships with large corporate and multinational clients.

• Track record of winning new business, increasing wallet share and delivering multi-product revenue growth.

• Strong knowledge of corporate banking, lending, capital markets, treasury and trade solutions, and risk management products.

• Understanding of the Industrials sector, including industry trends, business models and key client priorities.

• Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives and influence strategic client discussions.

• Strong business development, negotiation, relationship management and credit skills.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering solutions across multiple product areas.

• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a complex global organization.

• Demonstrated commitment to sound risk management and regulatory compliance.

• Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$200,000.00 - $225,000.00
