Warehouse Manager

What You Will Do

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply and fulfillment of orders for legacy and aftermarket automotive parts. This role plays a critical part in balancing inventory availability with production requirements, coordinating the movement of parts from existing stock or scheduling manufacturing activities to meet customer demand. Working closely with production, planning, logistics, and customer service teams, you will ensure accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Your focus will be on achieving delivery commitments, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting continuous improvement within warehouse and production operations.

How You Will Do It

• Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts and components.
• Oversee customer order fulfillment, ensuring products are supplied from stock or scheduled through production as required.
• Coordinate with production planning teams to prioritize manufacturing activities for unavailable inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement actions to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Lead warehouse operations to maintain safe, organized, and efficient workflows.
• Track key performance indicators relating to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and production teams to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• University degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in warehouse management, inventory control, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics operations.
• Experience managing inventory and customer order fulfillment processes.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and materials planning.
• Experience coordinating with production or manufacturing teams to meet customer demand.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and inventory management software.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead teams and drive operational improvements.

Preferred:

• Experience within the automotive, aftermarket parts, or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Previous experience managing warehouse teams in a high-volume environment.
